I am from where? from the winds,
why from mud and fire say the sires
Hind or Sindh the putrid soil smells
wind up thee the old myths and spills
thy vocal glue hangs on and mind
try to reckon what is in fresh find
the wet and dry lands spread
when they dig to bury the dead
Oh people of my time time it is
to leave pride and prejudice
of caste creed religion likewise
wise have become edifice
-pyramids of Egypt, mace
made in olden times,
might of Gods or science
of man's wish to fence
against odds of death
and to live again on Earth-
tell they all ta pauce
and peer at the naunce
of death ringing bell
and notes speechless
search thee and me
where from are we
In the vasts of past
and where do we all
wake up after the fall
do we be with eyes on
before we be born
bearing the passing show
tearing the recurring row?
