Again I am blessed to dream, know
regain back my composure to feast
rain mixed with honey flakes of snow
train my eyes to see invisible treat
embedded in the skeletal remains
of trees grasses that stand still
like a painting wearing costumes,
glassy transparent and imposing.
they take what it comes to feed on
and stare at limping bulky bears
fat white and pry on sleeping deers.
winter in connecticut hides in folds
of chilly terrain many a secrets
open up only when you don't expect
especially when a day shines,
nights brake open with bright sun.
Orange where I am and dream
day and night with my little friend
sweet enchanting and imposing,
makes a place perfect to forget
the routine so mundane and boring.
Yale and trail of past perfect wisdom
hail thee the seat of learning stardom
for all present and future perfect
I dream, we go go for a prospect
of finding the silver lines of day
to enjoin the wise with sweet will
for making us stand cool and pray
to learn and serve society at will
