the pages of vedaanta treatise by shri A Paardhasaaradhi: Unfortunately there is a great tendency theses days to refer to some great name. Rely upon some authority. This is a suicidal tendency. The main cause of suffering in the workd is that people do not liik within. They do not form their conclusions and judgements. They take matters too much on trust. They depend upon outside forces to do their thinking. You msut therefore take up every thing on its won merits. Do not allow the personality and life of the prophet to interfere with his teachings. His life and his teachings are differrent altogether. Do not mix tehm up. Consider each of themseparately. To act is one thing and to know the philosophy of how to act is another thing. To live an ideal life is one thing and to be able to explain the philosophy of it, to be able to render reasons for it is quite another. Everybody reasons in some way or other but very few know the science of reasoning.

Tiruvengalan Swaamin updated his status.
from scrap book:

the desires are the plumes
looming large is the hope
to kindle the light
before the day breaks
hail thee the blues of sky
as you wet the mind
with mild blue and clouds
you billow like the winds
that with tunes of flute
mellow the heart and
I am hurt there in oh!
nature you are mature and mighty
And all I see  is a fringe
of my own imagination
Or the creation of Lord
of all Oceans and worlds
